I chose Ca Del Tentor B&B based on the amazing reviews on Tripadvisor. I was looking for a place that was clean, in a quiet area, not too expensive and walking distance from the train station. The B&B is very difficult to find as there is no clear sign of the B&B from the street. We were walking around in circles for ages and feeling rather frustrated, until the owner came outside and saw us and showed us the way. I am not sure we would have found it otherwise. So make sure you get the owner's mobile no. so that you can call him and avoid walking around in circles like we did.
The B&B is very modern, clean and comfortable. It only has three or four rooms, so it is small and quiet. We took the double deluxe room with the en suite bathroom and it was spacious and very comfortable. The WiFi worked perfectly.
To have breakfast, you need to walk up to the second floor. The breakfast was good and kept us going for most of the day. You can also use this kitchen area to make coffee or tea during the day and snack on fruits.
** Please note, this B&B is not for people who do not like steep stairs. To access the reception area and bedrooms, you need to walk up stairs to the first floor. The stairs are rather steep and there is no elevator. The B&B is about a ten minute walk from the train station which was convenient and the neighborhood is quiet and very pretty.
We were sad to leave magical Venice after four beautiful days. On our last day, our train back to Milan was later in the day and we were able to leave our luggage at the B&B in the reception area for the entire day which was great. Overall, we were pleased with this accomodation. It was very reasonably priced, clean and in an excellent location.
